Abstract:
Photoacoustic tomography, photoacoustic microscopy and molecular photoacoustic imaging will be described. Most recent pre-clinical and clinical results using these novel imaging techniques for a wide range of applications will also be reported.

Huabei Jiang obtained a PhD in physical electronics from University of Electronic Science and Technology of China in 1988, and a PhD in biomedical engineering from Dartmouth College in 1995.
He is currently the J. Crayton Pruitt Family Professor/Endowed Chair at University of Florida. He has made pioneering contributions to the development of diffuse optical tomography, quantitative
photoacoustic tomography, fluorescence molecular tomography, and bioluminescence tomography. He is an elected Fellow of Optical Society of America (OSA), American Institute of Medical and
Biological Engineering (AIMBE), and International Society of Optical Engineering (SPIE).
