On November 30, the 8th Youth Academic Forum of the Institute of Precision Engineering and Micro/Nano Technology was successfully held in the Kaiwu Yuan Lecture Hall at Zijingang Campus. Liu Zhenyu, Secretary of the School Party Committee, was invited to attend the event and deliver a speech, accompanied by several faculty representatives from the institute.

Professor Maruyama Shigeo, a Foreign Member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and a renowned expert in atomic-scale manufacturing, was invited to deliver an academic keynote. Titled "Growth and Characterization of One-Dimensional van der Waals Heterostructures," his presentation systematically reviewed his research journey and representative achievements in atomic-scale manufacturing over the years, while providing a detailed introduction to his current focus and key projects.

Nine doctoral candidates delivered on-site presentations and engaged in discussions regarding their current research topics.
Outside the main venue, over thirty master's students participated in a dedicated poster session. Covering a wide range of research directions, the session attracted numerous attendees to stop, view the displays, and engage in in-depth exchanges.
