The 3rd Academic Conference on Human-Centered Intelligent Manufacturing was successfully held at the Beijing Friendship Hotel from October 31st to November 2nd.
The conference was guided by the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society and hosted by Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT). It was co-organized by the following institutions:

Representatives from nearly 100 institutions attended the event, including over 300 experts, scholars, corporate delegates, faculty members, and students. Wang Guoqing, Chief Information Officer of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, served as the Conference Chair. Yan Yan, Professor and Assistant President of Beijing Institute of Technology; Liu Jianhua, Professor and Party Secretary of the School of Mechanical Engineering; and Xi Junqiang, Professor and Dean of the School of Mechanical Engineering, served as Executive Co-chairs. Huang Sihan, Researcher at the School of Mechanical Engineering, served as the Chair of the Organizing Committee.
Academician Wang Guoqing, Professor Gao Liang (Vice President of Huazhong University of Science and Technology), and Professor Pang Siping (Vice President of Beijing Institute of Technology) delivered speeches at the opening ceremony. The ceremony was presided over by Professor Liu Jianhua, Party Secretary of the School of Mechanical Engineering.

Zhang Tong, Deputy Director of the Academic Media Center at China Machine Press and Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Mechanical Engineering, introduced the journal and its special column on Human-Centered Intelligent Manufacturing.
The keynote session was chaired by Liu Jianhua (BIT), Wang Baicun (Zhejiang University), Zhou Ying (HUST), and Huang Sihan (BIT).

Additionally, the conference recognized outstanding student presentations and posters. It was also announced that the 4th conference will be hosted by China Three Gorges University.
