Recently, the College of Mechanical Engineering organized a heartwarming autumn excursion for its retired faculty and staff. Old friends gathered to visit the ancient city of Xindeng and the former residence of Huang Gongwang, chatting affectionately and reminiscing about the past amidst a landscape rich with history and natural beauty.
In the past, they used their wisdom and sweat to precisely "mesh" the gears of the college's development. Today, they stroll leisurely through the poetic landscapes once painted by Huang Gongwang, fully enjoying a life of ease and tranquility.
The event was attended by Zhu Pinhe and Shi Yueding, Secretaries of the Retired Party Branch; Qiu Yixin, Deputy Director of the Party and Administration Office; secretaries from various departments and institutes; as well as student volunteers.
The teachers visited the ancient city of Xindeng in Fuyang and the residence of Huang Gongwang, spending joyful time together and creating unforgettable memories.
