The finals of the China International College Students Innovation Competition (2025) were held in Zhengzhou, Henan Province, from the 13th to the 15th. Teams from our college delivered outstanding performances, securing 2 Gold Medals and 1 Silver Medal, marking a new historic high for our institution.
Themed "I Dare to Venture, I Can Innovate," the competition saw exceptional results from our teams. The team behind "Qingfeng Zhichuang" (Intelligent TBM System for Large-Inclination Shaft Tunneling) and "Cisheng Guyin" (Bioprinting System for Knee Cartilage Repair) claimed the National Gold Awards, ranking first and second in their respective groups. Additionally, the project team "MagFlex" (A Pioneer in Next-Generation Flexible Tactile Magnetic Sensing Technology) won the National Silver Award.
Currently, the China International College Students Innovation Competition is one of the most extensive, highly participated, and influential innovation and entrepreneurship contests among Chinese universities. This year's event attracted a staggering 6.19 million projects involving 24.43 million participants from 5,673 institutions across 161 countries and regions, achieving full coverage of the world's top 100 universities. It has become a vital platform for promoting scientific and technological exchange as well as cultural interaction between China and the rest of the world.
