At noon on March 31, SME invited teachers Wang Haihong and Zheng Liujuan from the Clinical Skills Center of School of Medicine to carry out first aid special training for the faculty of SME. Deputy Party Secretary Xiang Shufang and more than 30 faculty and staff participated in the activity.
Mr. Wang Haihong first started from the importance of mastering first aid knowledge, and briefly explained the relevant theoretical knowledge of adult cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and the use of automatic external defibrillator (AED). Teacher Zheng Liujuan started from the practical operation process and demonstrated for everyone the rescue process and cardiopulmonary resuscitation operation skills in an emergency.
Under the on-site guidance of the two teachers, everyone was enthusiastic, and all the staff experienced first-hand the rescue and cardiopulmonary resuscitation process in an emergency. In the process of practical experience, the teachers initially understood some first aid knowledge and mastered certain first aid skills, and their safety awareness was further enhanced. In the future, when encountering emergencies, they may quickly take the most correct and effective first aid measures.
