On December 31, 2020, the 7th Student Science, Technology and Culture Exhibition of the School of Mechanical Engineering was successfully held in the first hall of the Yuquan campus. With the theme of "Technology wins the future", this year's student science and technology and culture exhibition showcases the outstanding achievements of mechanical students in innovation and entrepreneurship through graphic display and online interaction. This exhibition invites outstanding works that have achieved good results in the "Internet + Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition", "Energy Equipment Innovation Design Competition" and other major competitions, which maximizes the academic and cultural exchanges between students and demonstrates the advantages of the School of Mechanical Engineering. To create and promote the image of the college, this activity is not only a concentrated display of the college's innovation and entrepreneurship education achievements, but also an innovation and entrepreneurship science popularization and enlightenment for lower grade students. It encourages students to actively participate in various competitions and scientific research projects, and continuously improve their innovative practice capabilities with an aim to cultivate engineering talents with a sense of social responsibility, innovative spirit and practical ability.
On the day of the event, the sun was shining. Members of the Science and Technology Innovation Team set up tents, tables, game props and interactive prizes at the teaching door. The students were enthusiastic and came to the scene to communicate and interact. The exhibition boards of excellent mechanical related works such as "Origami-inspired'Building Blocks' Soft Robots", "Remote Operational Medical Assistant Robots Used in New Coronary Isolation Wards", and "Ocean Temperature Differences Can Drive Autonomous Ups and Downs Profiler" attracted the attention of students , Everyone stopped and watched in front of the exhibition board, read carefully, discussed with each other, and members of the Science and Technology Innovation Center were on the side to explain it, which was very lively.
This science and technology exhibition also set up a sticker link, where students can put loving labels on their favorite scientific and technological works, and in this way it also better demonstrates the students' love for the exhibited works.
