In order to improve the teaching philosophy and level of teachers, and strengthen the communication among young teachers, the School of Mechanical Engineering successfully held the first Teaching Development Forum and the fifth phase of the School of Mechanical Engineering at noon on December 4, 2019 on Yuquan campus. Professor Gao Wei from the University of New South Wales in Australia came to this forum and gave a report. 15 teachers from the college participated in this forum, and Vice President Liu Zhenyu presided over the event.
Professor Gao Wei gave a report entitled "Sharing of the Undergraduate Teaching Mode of the University of New South Wales" at the forum. Professor Gao systematically introduced the University of New South Wales' undergraduate teaching philosophy and postgraduate training path, especially introduced the mechanical professional credit setting, scholarship application, student major change, curriculum reform and the impact of teaching work on the promotion of teachers. In a relaxed and happy atmosphere, everyone had an in-depth discussion, and the exchange was lively and harmonious.
