From October 31st to November 3rd, the final of the 11th Zhejiang University Young Teacher Teaching Competition was successfully held at Zhejiang Gongshang University. The competition was sponsored by the Provincial Department of Education and the Provincial Education Union. 120 young teachers from 61 colleges and universities across the province competed in the finals to discuss teaching skills and demonstrate their teaching style. After fierce competition, 7 contestants from Zhejiang University won 2 special prizes, 4 first prizes and 1 second prize respectively. Among them, teacher Li Xin from our school won the first prize in the engineering group.
This youth education competition refers to the standards and requirements of the national competition, and is open to young teachers under 40 years old in various colleges and universities in the province who are engaged in education and teaching. A total of four groups of liberal arts, sciences, engineering, and ideological and political theory courses In addition, the content of the competition includes teaching design, classroom teaching and teaching reflection. During the competition, the participating teachers of Zhejiang University strictly abide by the rules of the competition, overcome the disadvantages of drawing lots and other difficulties, work hard in unity, participate in the competition seriously, and show good professional ethics and spiritual outlook. Its excellent teaching level and deep scientific research strength have been recognized and praised by judges and experts, demonstrating the level and style of young teachers in first-class comprehensive universities.
