From October 21st to 23rd, the 6th "Creating Youth" China Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition (Internet Group) National Competition was held in Hangzhou Dream Town. Fu Zhenbang, secretary of the Secretariat of the League Central Committee, attended the finals and awards ceremony of the competition and presented awards to the championship. Wang Wenxu, Vice Governor of Zhejiang Province, attended the event and delivered a speech. More than 500 people, including organizers, supporting units, Internet celebrities, venture capital institutions, media reporters, finalist project teams and entrepreneurial youth representatives witnessed the emergence of the championship.
After fierce competition, the "Hamm Technology-Leader in Underwater Intelligent Cleaning Industry" project led by Dr. Wei Qianxiao from the HOME team of Professor Yang Canjun from the School of Mechanical Engineering of Zhejiang University won the overall championship.
In addition, the competition also produced 9 gold medals, 20 silver medals, and 70 bronze medals. Outstanding award-winning projects in the competition will enjoy generous bonuses and receive preferential support such as entering the dream town and "financing through train".

The competition is sponsored by the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, the Central Cyberspace Administration of China, and the People's Government of Zhejiang Province. The Zhejiang Provincial Committee of the Communist Youth League, the Cyberspace Administration of the Zhejiang Provincial Committee, the Zhejiang Provincial Development and Reform Commission, the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology, the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Science and Technology, the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Commerce, and Hangzhou Organized by the People's Government and China Youth New Media Association, and co-organized by the People's Government of Yuhang District and the Management Committee of Future Science and Technology City (Haichuang Park).
The "Creative Youth" China Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition has reached its sixth year, especially the Internet entrepreneurship project has matured. So what kind of project can stand out from the more than 7000 projects? Especially the last four projects, when the Internet + technology has been maturely applied, what do they rely on to make the last laugh?
From the 100 projects in the semi-finals, we can find that the projects that can stand on the final stage, in addition to embracing the cutting-edge technology of VR, artificial intelligence, and 5G, the most important thing is to use technology to solve the bottleneck of reality and have broad application prospects.
The overall champion of this competition "Hamm Technology-Leader in the Underwater Intelligent Cleaning Industry" has the above three conditions.
"At the end, it was actually quite unexpected. I feel that the projects of other teams are also very good. There have been a lot of exchanges in the early stage." Wei Qian, the project leader, said with a smile, "Very unexpected."
Wei Qianxiao told reporters that China has a very long coastline, and there are many offshore oil platforms and ships. These equipment are soaked in sea water for a long time, and a large number of sea creatures such as barnacles will be attached to the surface, which will seriously affect the service life and safety of the equipment.
To this end, Hamm Technology has independently developed an underwater sea creature cleaning robot HOME, which completely replaces humans. This robot is very intelligent. "We have many patents. Simply put, it can intelligently clean the hull under water. "Wei Qian said with a smile.
In fact, it’s no surprise that this project can win the championship. Just as Wu Xinhong, the judge of the finals and the founder of Meitu, said, “A lot of cutting-edge technologies are there. How to implement these technologies to solve the bottleneck of traditional industries? This is the core competitiveness of a project."
