The 2019 International Conference on Intelligent Manufacturing, Industrial and Logistics Engineering and the 2019 International Seminar on Semiconductor Manufacturing Intelligence were held in the Shaw Science and Technology Museum of Zhejiang University from April 19 to 21, 2019. More than 140 field experts, students and industrialists from the United States, Germany, France, Britain, Sweden, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Mainland China and Taiwan participated in this event.
The opening ceremony of the conference was presided over by the co-chair of the conference, Professor Tang Renzhong, Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering, School of Mechanical Engineering, Zhejiang University. Professor Ju Bingfeng, Vice Dean of the School of Mechanical Engineering, delivered a welcome speech on behalf of the organizer. Co-chair of the conference, Department of Industrial Engineering and Management, Xinzhu Tsinghua UniversityProfessor Jian Zhenfu delivered an opening speech.
Honorary chairman of the conference, editor-in-chief of the international journal "Journal of Intelligent Manufacturing", professor Andrew Kusiak of the University of Iowa, academician of the Canadian Academy of Engineering, editor-in-chief of three international journals including "Robotics and Computer-Integrated Manufacturing", professor Lihui Wang of Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden , Co-editor of "Industrial Management & Data Systems", Professor Hing Kai Chan from the University of Nottingham Ningbo, Professor Tae-Eog Lee from the Korean Academy of Science and Technology, Senior Researcher Mitsuo Gen, Japan Institute of Fuzzy Logic Systems, Professor Young Jae Jang from the Korean Academy of Science and Technology gave the theme report of the conference. At the same time, the conference has four sub-venues for academic discussion, and full academic discussions have been launched.
The conference conducted the selection of the best paper student group and teacher group respectively. Yuting Kong and Shengkai Chen from Zhejiang University won the outstanding student paper award.
On the 21st, the conference also organized lectures given by Professor Lihui Wang and Professor Hing Kai Chan, the editors-in-chief of renowned journals. They had full exchanges with the students on how to conduct academic research, how to write and publish high-level SCI journal articles, and proposed to the students The question was patiently guided and answered.
The success of this conference is of great significance to promote interdisciplinary academic exchanges in the fields of intelligent manufacturing, industrial logistics, semiconductor manufacturing, deepen international cooperation, and enhance the influence of our school's related majors. The 2020 International Conference on Intelligent Manufacturing, Industrial and Logistics Engineering and the International Seminar on Semiconductor Manufacturing Intelligence will be hosted by the Korea Academy of Science and Technology KAIST.
