The Institute of design engineering is made up of the original engineering and computer graphics Institute. Design engineering research institute is the member of major constituent unit about national innovation research groups of electrical and mechanical hydraulic system basic research 、state key laboratory of fluid power and mechanic system, state key laboratory of computer aided design and graphics, is the supporting institution of teaching base of engineering drawing which is the engineering foundation course, belongs to the mechanical design and theory for the national key disciplines. There are 32 people on-the-job, including 1 academician of CAE, 6 professors, 11 associate professors, 11 lecturers/engineers, 3 postdoctoral. There are 1national outstanding young man and 1 chief scientist of 973 project, 1 national famous teachers, 2 special government allowances, 1 national excellent youth winner, 2 famous teachers of Zhejiang province, Zhejiang province 1 young and middle-aged expert with outstanding contributions of Zhejiang province.
