Key Laboratory of 3D Printing Process and Equipment of Zhejiang Province, founded in 2014, was the first provincial key lab focusing on additive manufacturing and 3D printing technology, mainly working for the basic theory of shape control of 3D printing and development of printing equipment, providing basic supports for relevant researches in manufacturing, biology, medical science and other disciplines. Its main research directions include: 3D Printing in Biomedical Science, 3D Printing in Soft Matters, 3D Printing’s Fine Control and Testing and 3D Printing of Metals, etc.. It has 30 permanent staffs including 1 selectee of national “Thousand Talents Program”, 1 winner of extraordinary youth fund, 2selectee of national “Thousand Young Talents”, 1 winner of excellent youth fund, 10 professors, 12 associate professors and senior engineers, and 8 lectures and technicians.
