| Renzhong Tang obtained the batcher degree in 1981, master degree in 1984 and doctor degree in 1990. Since 1984 he taught in Zhejing University. He was the visiting scholar in Institute of Manufacturing Engineering and Automation in Fraunhofer Academe (University of Manufacturing and enterprise management Station) from 1994 to 1995. Since 1986 he undertook enterprise informative management, lean manufacture and process management, knowledge management, RFID application and manufacturing process visualization. In recent years he was mainly responsible for three projects of National Natural Science Foundation, five projects of National 863 Program CIMS and three provincial projects. He won three provincial and ministerial science or technology awards and published over 100 papers. He is now member of Industrial Engineering Committee of China Mechanical Engineering Association, Zhejing Province Mechanical Engineering Association, deputy director of the Commission on Youth, manager of management engineering of Zhejing Mechanical Engineering Association, standing member of Zhejing Modern Enterprise Consultative Association, editorial member of Journal of Zhejing University and associate editor of the Journal of Mechantronic Engineering. As a tutor, he insists friends before teachers, and takes effort to discuss with his students about life, work and knowledge. |
