Biography:

Dr. Mei is a Professor of Department of Mechanical Engineering at ZhejiangUniversity. He received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from XidianUniversity, Xi’An, China, and his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from ZhejiangUniversity, Hangzhou, China. From 2006 to 2008, he was a visiting scholar of S.M. Wu Manufacturing Research Center at University of Michigan (Ann Arbor). His research interests include micro forming and micro-manufacturing, design and micro-manufacturing for hydrogen energy devices, vibration measuring and control, mechanical bionics, etc. In the past 10 years, he has supported by National Science Foundation of China, National High-tech R&D Program of China (863 Program), Zhejiang Provincial Natural Science Foundation of China, Scientific Research Foundation for the Returned Overseas Chinese Scholars (Ministry of Education of China), and etc. He is serving as the reviewer for ASME Journal of Manufacturing Science and Engineering, International Journal of Machine Tools and Manufacture, Journal of Sound and Vibration, IEEE Transactions on Automation Science and Engineering, The International Journal of Advanced Manufacturing Technology, International of Journal of Production Research, etc. Dr. Mei has got provincial level technology progress for three times. He has 7 China patents and over 50 publications, including over 40 journal papers.
