YANG Shixi

Shixi Yang, born in 1968, doctor of engineering, professor and PHD supervisor of department of mechanical engineering, ZhejiangUniversity. He has long been engaged in teaching and research in intelligent detection, signal processing, mechanical fault diagnosis and automatic control, etc. He is a member of Chinese Society of Vibration Engineering, the vice director and secretary-general of Dynamic Measurement Professional Committee, a member of the committee of Chinese Association of Automation in Fault Diagnosis and Security of Technical Process, the vice director and secretary-general of National College Mechanical Engineering Measurement Research Committee. He is also a managing editor of the journal Vibration Measurement and Diagnosis (in Chinese).

In recent years, he has been in charge of many research projects including three from the National Natural Science Foundation of China, one from the National High Technology Research and Development Program of China and several items from the Enterprise Cooperation Research and Development Program. He has also participated in many research projects including three from the National Natural Science Foundation of China, two from the National Science Technology Major Project and two from the Natural Science Foundation of Zhejiang Province. Till now, he has published over 130 technical papers in national and international journals as well as conferences and gained four China invention patents, six utility model patents and eight software copyright registrations. Due to his work, he has been awarded one item of the second class of Zhejiang Provincial Government Award for Scientific and Technical Advancement, one item of the third class of Military Award for Scientific and Technical Advancement, two items of the first class of National Defense Mobilization Automatic Software Award of the Nanjing Military Region.
