Professor Fu received his BEng/MEng/ degree in Zhejiang University, China in 1990，1992，1996, respectively.  Now he is the deputy director of the institute of manufacturing engineering, department of mechanical engineering at ZhejiangUniversity; the deputy director of the key laboratory of advanced manufacturing technology, Zhejiang province and the director of the Engineering Training Center of Zhejiang University. He is one of the “151” outstanding expert of Zhejiang province, a member of expert group of the major electromechanical equipment, Zhejiang province, a member of the council of mechanical equipment manufacturing technology and innovation service platform, Zhejiang province. He is an executive member of Zhejiang mechanical engineering society; an executive member and vice secretary of precision machinery of the China Instrument and Control Society, an executive member of machine tools Academy for Production Engineering of Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society.

In recent years, he has accomplished two projects of National Natural Science Fund, a key project of National High Technology Research and Development Program of China (863 Program) and two projects of National Science and Technology Major Project. He has completed more than 20 projects of enterprises.

He has published more than 100 journal papers, of which more than 60 papers have been indexed by SCI or EI. He has also published a book in his professional. He won a Provincial Science and Technology progress prize (Second Class) and obtained 6 invention patents.
