At the invitation of Prof. Canjun Yang, Prof. Bruce M. Howe, the internationally renowned marine engineering scientist from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, Hawaii, USA, visited the State Key Laboratory of Fluid Power Transmission and Control on Apr. 26, 2013. After the invitation, Prof. Bruce made a wonderful academic report entitled “Ocean Observing: From Gliders to Abyssal Cable Systems”.
