From July 19th to 22nd, 2012, the final of the Fifth National Undergraduate Mechanical Innovation Design Competition was held in the Second Artillery Engineering University in Xi’an city. More than 60.000 students participated in the competition totally including 3570 works, 510 colleges and universities and 29 provinces. After the provincial preliminaries and finals, 155 works got their final qualifications. The “clothes folding machine” designed and made by undergraduates Gu Hong-ri, Li Feng-chun, Lu Shi-song and Yang Qing-jun majoring in mechatronic engineering of our school cut a figure and won the national first prize.
