For hundred years have we gone through hard time, for hundred years have we been keeping great tradition and making progress. The 100th year since the birthday of mechanical and manufacturing engineering department finally comes on May 21st, 2011. At 2:30pm, The 26th Lecture of Mechanical Science and Engineering Development BBS-- symposium given by Professor Luo Jianbin was held at the auditorium on the second floor of the library in Yuquan campus successfully. The meeting was held by Academician Tan Jianrong, the director of Machinery Department. Professor Fu Xin--the vice director of Machinery Department—and Li Jinlin, the deputy secretary of Party Committee also attended the symposium. Hundreds of teachers and students from Machinery Department listened to this wonderful symposium carefully. Professor Luo introduced practical application and development prospects of study on tribology at the end of the symposium.
