The First Party Congress of the Department of Mechanical Engineering was held in Yongqian square on December 17, 2010. Tuqiao Zhang, member of School Party Committee, Vice President of ZJU; Wei Li, Secretary of Dep. Party Committee; Jinlin Li, Deputy Secretary, and other committee members are present at the congress. Also, delegations of every institute and delegations of graduate students showed up in the meeting. The congress was hosted by Jinlin Li.
The congress started with the international.
Vice President Zhang attended the congress and delivered an inspiring speech. First, he congratulated the Dep. of Mechanical Engineering for the endeavor of making this congress possible on behalf of the School Party Committee. He thought highly of the extraordinary work that has been done in the last two years, and praised the department for its amazing contribution in cultivating highly qualified talents for the society and developing advanced technologies for our country. The feat would be immortal.
Some decisions and resolutions have been passed in the congress, which will definitely improve the work in future to be done in a better way.
And the congress ended with the solemn national anthem. This congress is doomed to be successful and effective in pushing the development of our department to the next level.
