National Vice Chairman Lu Yongxiang wrote an inscription for the Department of Mechanical Engineering,ZJU

   Lu Yongxiang, the president of Chinese Academy of Sciences and Vice Chairman of National People's Congress dedicated for the department of mechanical engineering of Zhejiang University at 9 o’clock on 16th Jun. the ceremony was held at the 11th building at Yuquan Campus. The dedication of Lu was “Cultivate the innovative talents , construct a powerful country─for  department of mechanical engineering, Zhejiang University ”. The dedication which was written on May the 18th, 2009, expressed Lu’s expectation and encourage to the department of mechanical engineering. 

The vice president Lai Maode, director of engineering department Li Bogeng and all the party member of mechanical engineering took part in this ceremony which was hosted by vice secretary of Party committee and deputy director of mechanical engineering department Liwei.

The ceremony was short but quite warm. The vice president Lai Maode and director of mechanical engineering department Tan Jianrong unveiled and hung the plaque of Lu’s dedication. After that, Lai Maode, Tan Jianrong and Li Bogeng addressed fiery speech.

       Before the end of the ceremony, the vice president Lai Maode took photos with all the attainders.
