Qiu Chan, Ph.D, research assistant of School of Mechanical Engineering of Zhejiang University. His main research areas are digital design and manufacture of complex equipment, digital prototyping and virtual reality, simulation analysis of complex product. He has presided the the National Natural Science Foundation of China, China Postdoctoral Science Foundation and others. He has published several papers in international authoritative journals as the first author, such as Applied Surface Science, ASME Journal of Computing and Information Science in Engineering and others. As the main member, he has won First Prize for Science and Technology Progress Award of the Ministry of Education.
