GONG Guofang

Guofang Gong , born in Ningbo, graduated from the mechanical engineering department of Chinese university of mining technology (Beijing) and got his doctor's degree in June 2000. Now he works at the state key Lab of fluid power transmission and control, national engineering research center for electro-hydraulic control, Zhejiang University, as a professor and supervisor of PhD candidates. He mainly engages in integration of electro-hydraulic control systems and analysis of their performance, tribological characteristics of materials and their applications in hydraulic components, hydraulic oil modulus test, and other teaching and research works on hydraulic transmission and hydrodynamics.  As a head of research project, he carried out 3 items of national high-tech research and development projects (863), 1 item of national science and technology support plan, 1 item of national natural science fund, 1 item of the National Basic Research Program of China (973 Program) , and 1 key project of provincial natural science fund.  He was authorized more than 30 national invention patent and more than 20 utility model patents, and published more than 100 papers, which included more than 50 papers indexed by SCI/EI.  He won “the second class award for national science and technology progress”, “the first class award of Zhejiang Province science and technology progress”, “the first prize of science and technology achievements in universities by the Ministry of Education”, “the first class award of technology invention by the Ministry of Education”, “the third award of Shanghai Science and technology progress”, “Excellence Award of China's patent", “excellent paper award by the Ministry of Education”.
