In order to encourage scientific and technological workers to produce more high-quality scientific research and original research results, guide more outstanding results to be published in Chinese scientific and technological journals, and promote the construction of world-class scientific and technological journals, the China Association for Science and Technology organized the sixth excellent scientific and technological paper selection plan. This year's paper selection work is divided into 10 subject clusters, each subject cluster selects 10 excellent papers, and a total of no more than 100 excellent papers are selected. In order to give full play to the academic and professional advantages of national societies and related institutions, and organize the selection work with high quality, one leading unit for each discipline cluster is responsible for organizing the selection of papers within the cluster, and recommends and reviews papers according to the overall deployment of the implementation plan.
After the recommendation of experts in various disciplines, the initial evaluation and selection, the final evaluation and the public announcement, 100 papers were finally selected, including 10 papers in the manufacturing and materials cluster. The paper "Noise Reduction of an Axial Piston Pump by Valve Plate Optimization" published in Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering written by prof. Xu Bing, researcher Zhang Junhui, and Dr. Ye Shaoqian in our school was successfully selected! This is the second time that Professor Xu Bing's team has won the second China Association for Science and Technology Outstanding Scientific and Technological Paper Award.
