Basic Information

Dr. Chun-Biao Gan was born in 1971 in Fengcheng City, Jiangxi Province. He received his Ph. D. degree from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics in 1998. He was a postdoctoral fellow at Zhejiang University from 1998 to 2000 and visited the Hong Kong Polytechnic University from 2000 to 2002 for research cooperation on the prediction and evaluation of the urban traffic noise. Dr. Gan has been a professor since 2006 and a doctoral instructor since 2007 at Zhejiang University. He has co-authored over50 technical publications, such as in Journal of Sound and Vibration, International Journal of Nonlinear Mechanics, Chaos, Solitons & Fractals, Physics Letters A, Nonlinear Dynamics, Physical Review E, Journal of Physics A: Mathematical and Theoretical, Acta Mechanica Sinica, Chinese Physics B, etc.
