A Project Led by Academician Tan Jianrong, the Director of ME Department, Was Awarded the Second Class Prize of National Scientific and Technological Progress; Another Project Participated by Prof. Ying Ji Was also Awarded the Second Class Prize of Nation

    On Feb.14^th morning, the awarding meeting of state science and technology in 2011 was held in the Grate Hall of The People in Beijing. Chinese President Hu Jintao and some other party and state leaders granted representatives the “Five Awards” representing the highest award of the areas of state science and technology. In the award-winning list, Zhejiang University totally had 14 projects for the awards of the state science and technology in 2011, which was equal to the Tsinghua University’s in the winning total.
